Bir sayısının prensibi erildir ve Yang’dır. Aktif ve yaratıcıdır. Bir Yaratan’ın sayısıdır. İlk sayıdır, önceli yoktur ve başlatandır. Bir sayısı ilk boyuttur, noktadır. İki ayağı üzerinde ayakta duran ve bunu dünya üzerinde yapabilen yegâne canlı olan insanı temsil eder. Bütün sayılar ondan türediği için kendi potansiyelini keşfetmeyi ve onu ustalığa ve inisiyatife dönüştürmeyi temsil eder.
The
principle of number one is masculine. It is Yang, active and creative. One
is the number of the Creator. It is the first number, has no predecessor
and it is the initiator. Number
1 is the first dimension, it is the point. It is the
symbol of the man upright, the only living
being to stand up on two legs. As all other numbers derive from 1, it
symbolizes becoming aware of one's own potentials and transforming them to
mastery and initiative.
